Yellow and silver flower

This card is so pretty in person.  I know the pictures don't do it justice.  I started with the "flower" on page 66 of the Sophie cartridge.  I knew I wanted to use my DCWV Lemon Flower stack. I originally cut the "stem" in green and it just didn't look good, so I switched to the gray and it made all of the difference.

The flower was cut at 3 inches.  I ran the yellow part of the flower through my Zyron and sprinkled it with Stampin' Up's Dazzling Diamonds.  Added the layer and put a "crystal" in the middle.

The oval is cut from the Art Philosophy cartridge from page 32 the Oval2 at 3.25 inches. The yellow layer is cut at 4.5 x 6.5 and the bottom layer is 5 x 7.

I added the lacy ribbon to finish it off.

The oval for the inside was from page 45 Label4-s of the Sophie cartridge.  Honestly, I was too lazy to swap out the cartridge (j/k). Plus I wanted a little bigger space for a sentiment, so I used this one instead of repeating the one from the front of the card.

I am really happy with the way this card turned out.

Thanks for coming by,

Cindy :)

  1. This card IS beautiful Cindy! I can certainly tell from the picture. I have this stack and love the papers. And your addition of lace is the perfect touch!--Pat
