Fall Musings

So yesterday I am standing in my back yard with the sun filtering through the trees and the breeze begins to blow and the leaves begin to fall like rain all around me.  It was such a magical moment.  Then I looked at the ground at all the leaves and thought, "someone has to rake all these leaves."  Then I went back into the house.

I got this idea from the Cricut Chirp newsletter.  It was pretty easy to do.  I'll put a gift card in the pocket for BJ.

Rehearsal Dinner Invites

These went in the mail yesterday. I made about 28 of them. I cuttlebugged the white on the front and the hearts are from the Wedding Solutions cartridge.
Got a lot to do to get ready for wedding. Will start on wedding cake treat boxes tonight or tomorrow.
Today is World Card Making Day and I will be spending several hours at the Scrap Shack making cards. Look forward to having fun there!

I won the Gypsy

I won! Iwon! I am so excited!!!!!!! I was watching the "tailgate" webcast last night on Christmas with the Cricut and they were giving away a Gypsy by Provocraft at 11:55 right before the World launch on HSN. And I couldn't believe it when they called my screen name and read my post! I am the winner!!! I've never been the winner! And I am so excited!!!!

I can't wait to get my Gypsy in my hands. And it will come in so handy. I can take all my carts to Houston to decorate for my sons wedding and it will fit in my purse!!!!!!

Can you tell that I am so excited!!

Nascar

Did I mention that I am a fan of Nascar? I went to my first race a couple of weeks ago in Atlanta and had a wonderful time. The Pit passes were the highlight of my weekend. I am a fan of Tony Stewart, Kasey Kahne, Jeff Gordon, Carl Edwards, Junior, etc. I do have a lot of driver's that I am happy if they win. I have some I never want to win also! I compare myself to a kid in a candy store that can't choose just one!! I was so very excited when Kasey won in Atlanta!!!

My husband and I took our travel trailer and it was great! I can't wait to go again. We are thinking about going to Homestead for the last race. Have to work out details with the holiday and all. It would be fabulous if Tony won!

Thanks for dropping by.

Beginning

Hello I don't know who or if anyone will ever find their way to Pink Lady's Paradise, but in case you do Welcome.

About me: I am a wife (of 28 years) a Mom (Billy 25, Ken 22, Shelby 16) and I love to craft. I recently purchased a Cricut Expression and have gotten into scrapbooking and card making and anything else that strikes my fancy.

I will probably use this place to display my art and chat about life. Who knows where it will go from here.

Thanks for stopping by.
