Cupcake with a Cherry on Top

All the shapes, including the card were cut from the Art Philosophy Cartridge by Creative Memories. This card shape is cut from page 53 at 5.5 inches.  The layer is cut at 5.25 from the tag feature on the same page and the paper is from DCWV's Sweet stack.  The cupcake was cut at 2.5 inches from page 70. I used the coordinating stamp set and stamped only the top of the cupcake with my Versa Mark pad and the embossed it.   I had a clear plastic circle and I added ruby red stickles to the back for the cherry and cut a little piece of brown paper for the stem.
The decorative label was cut from page 26 at 1.5 inches.  I used the Happy Birthday from the coordinating stamp set (again) and embossed it onto the label then added it to the chip board that came with the kit.
I ran the ribbon through the holes provided and popped everything up on the card.

For the inside I cut the white with the base cut on page 53 and the pink is the decorative layer on that page.  Both were cut at 4.5 inches.

  2. Too adorable. The embossed happy birthday plaque looks perfect! I love embossing like that but don't always get the kind of results I'd like. This card is terrific!--Pat N.
