Buttons & Bow Heart

Hello friends,

This is a 4.25 x 5.5 card. The heart is cut from the Cindy Loo cartridge on page 32 at 3.5". The card base, ribbon and buttons are from Paper Trey Ink in a color called Autumn Rose. The patterned paper is from a Colorbok paper pack that my son gave me for Christmas. The tourquoise was from my scraps.

I couldn't decide on the polka dot ribbon or the stitched ribbon.  So I ran a line of tape down the back of the polka dot with my ATG gun and taped them together.

I added the faux stitching lines with my white pen.  I didn't add the stitching until after I had put the card together, so it is not the best (I'm not too good at it to begin with).

For the inside I added a few jewels and a punched out heart.

I made this for the http://diecuttindivas.blogspot.com/ challenge which was to use Bling, Buttons and Bows.  Normally I am better at Bling than Buttons and/or Bows.  But today the bling got relegated to the inside of the card!

Thanks for coming by and ya'll come back soon,

Cindy : )

  1. Oh, Cindy, I love it! Your patterned paper is just perfect with your heart. And I like that you joined the two ribbons! If you can't decide, use them both--good idea! Love the inside too. It looks really pretty. What punch is that heart made from? It's really a cute heart, and love the bling inside too. Great job! Thanks for entering the DCD Challenge! Good luck!--Pat N.
