The first card I would like to share I am entering in The Paper Players Challenge 421.
This card is made with the Frosted Floral Specialty DSP from Stampin' Up. I fell in love with this paper at first sight and immediately wanted to use it for unconventional Christmas Cards.
The base is Blackberry Bliss with a layer of Silver Glitter then a layer of the Frosted Floral Dsp. The ribbon is Berry Burst with the glittery edging. The label is from the Stitched Label framelits.
The sentiment is from Snowflake Sentiments and is stamped in Blackberry Bliss and clear embossed.
The next card is also utilizing the Frosted Floral DSP and the His Light stamp set.
The Rejoice is so beautiful I was drawn to it upon first sight. For this card I embossed it in silver and layered it with silver glitter paper. The card base and velvet ribbon is in Tranquil Tide.
Of course I had to do the Rejoice in gold also.
The background paper was in last years Sale-a-bration catalog.
Next up is a card once again using the Frosted Floral DSP. I used the white Embossing paste with the Pattern Party Decorative Masks on a Night of Navy base with the Night of Navy corduroy ribbon.
I again used the sentiment from Snowflake Sentiments.
Onto a more whimsical card made with the Nothing Sweeter stamp set and Sweetly Stitched framelits. I didn't fall in love with the set immediately but after using it I have indeed fallen in love.
Here is a close up so that you can see the stitching that is added by the die when you cut it out.
It almost looks like a cookie (light bulb over my head card idea). The sentiment is also from this set.I also used the tree on my cute Take Out Treats boxes.
These are so super cute and relatively easy to make. The die does a good job of scoring all the folds.
And while I had out the Hang Your Stocking set ---
Always a favorite of mine.
And speaking of Blended Seasons ---
I used the cute holly clusters from Blended Seasons and the Sentiment from Snowflake Sentiments on Very Vanilla cardstock.
If nothing else, I think this post shows you how versatile all of these sets are! Not to mention how addictive it becomes!!
Thank you for visiting my blog. I hope you were inspired in some way.
