Another card made with the Paisley collection. The paper is from the Petals and Paisleys DSP. The "flowers" were cut from the Paisley Framelits in Rich Razzleberry. I used gold foil paper on this one.
The base is the Navy glimmer from Paper Trey Ink. The next is Stampin' Up Delightful Dijon.
The stamp is from a Close to my Heart set that I have used many times. I was really happy with the way this card turned out. It's really beautiful in person.

Copper Foil Leaf
I've been loving the look of the copper foil paper and the copper embossing powders since I first saw them in the catalog. I finally got a chance to play with them.
The designer paper is from the Petals and Paisley's series. The leaf is from Botanicals thinlits from last year's catalog and of course cut in the copper foil paper.
The stamp is from Paisleys and Posies set, which is one of my favorites. I stamped it in the copper embossing powder.
I made this card for our Stars card swap and was very happy with the way it turned out.

Jar of Haunts
I could not resist this mummy in the jar! So I bought the Jar of Haunts stamp set and the Everyday Jar Thinlits.
I had to let my mummy have friends so I add a Jack-O-Lantern jar and what I call a Grinch jar because the eyes remind me of the Grinch Who Stole Christmas. The Happy Halloween came from another random set that I had. Not sure who made it. Then I stamped the candy corn, colored them in and cut them apart to sprinkle across the card.
I love my Haunted Jars.

Sweet Cupcakes
I made these for the swap in my monthly Stars (stampers) meeting. They turned out really cute. It's hard to see the sweet in the photos, but they are glittery and sparkly in person.. I made the first pink one for my Granddaughter and liked it so well I decided to make it for my swap.
When I saw this set Sweet Cupcakes in the Stampin' Up catalog, I thought "I don't really need another cupcake stamp." But I am glad I changed my mind. This is a 3-step stamp and it really turns out nicely and the sayings are really nice.
I like stamp sets that have sentiments for the inside also!
Thanks for coming by for a visit. Come back again soon..

Thoughtful Branches
I ordered the Thoughtful Branches bundle at almost the last minute! But I am so glad I did. I really love the cards that I have made with it so far and I am just getting started!
I absolutely adore the Hydrangea stamp and thinlit (it can also be a tree top in this set). Could you tell. It's beautiful in any color
.
This bottom card is also a tree top turned into a flower. The color is Rich Razzleberry which looks almost black in the photo. I stamped it full color and then a one off a couple of times to get the color variation. The ribbon is Sweet Sugarplum because I didn't have any Rich Razzleberry ribbon but I think the two colors coordinate quite nicely.

Flourish Thinlits Yet Again
I don't think that I will ever get tired of this bundle. I really love this card made with the Flourish Thinlit dies. I had cut a couple of the flowers earlier and they were just hanging around until I decided to do something with them.
I used Sweet Sugarplum for the purple flowers. The Happy Birthday stamp is from the Sky is the Limit stamp set.
After I took the picture, I noticed one of my pearls had gotten out of place, but I'll make sure it is back in place before passing this card along.

Fun with Flourishing Phrases
Another card from Flourishing Phrases. This is such a great set. I really love the stamps and the thinlits.
This time I used the stamp and was very happy with the results.
This was done with Strawberry Slush.
This next one I made last night for a Sympathy card. Simple and elegant. I used the thinlit and cut it out in silver glitter paper.

Sunshine Wishes
This is a card I made for my daughter-in-law. Green is her favorite color so I used SU Emerald Envy with the Sunshine Wishes Thinlit. The Happy Birthday stamp is from the Sky is the Limit stamp set. The background paper that shows around the edge is from the In-Colors DSP.
Love this set of thinlits and expect to get a lot of use from them.
Thanks for coming by.

Flourishing
I love the Stampin' Up Flourishing Phrases stamp set but I really love the Flourishing Thinlit dies.
A quick, easy and elegant card. It doesn't get much easier than this. I used the Flourishing Thinlit die to cut out the flourish in Dapper Denim. I put it on white cardstock added a ribbon in Dapper Denim and stamped the sentiment in the same. Then added it to a Dapper Denim card base. I added a few pearls and done! Simple elegant card.

Swirly Bird Bonkers
At first glance I was not terribly impressed with Swirly Bird Stamp set and the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits, but how wrong I was. This set is so versatile it is totally addicting!
This is the first card I made just goofing around but love the way it turned out. I stamped the three large flowers with Flirty Flamingo. The smaller swirl flowers in Sweet Sugarplum. The blue flowers in Dapper Denim then colored them in with the coordinating Stampin' Write marker. The leaves are from Flourishing Phrases Set in Wild Wasabi and the Just A Note is from the same set stamped in black. I used the thinlits to cut the white swirls and added some Dazzling Diamonds. The card base is also Flirty Flamingo.
Since I liked the first one, I decided to do it again in different colors for an anniversary card.
I used the Peekaboo Peach for the large swirls, Calypso Coral for small swirls, and Perfect plum for the small flowers. I used candy dots for the center of the small flower.
The Happy Anniversary is from a Close to My Heart set called the Happy Couple.
Then I decided to try my hand at a grunge card and this was the result.
The first card is done with Tip Top Taupe and a little Calypso Coral and the second is done with Dapper Denim and some Tip Top Taupe.
I have a feeling that I am just getting started with this set!

A challenge by the sea
Paper Pal Arts Challenge 308 - Sketch Challenge
http://palspaperarts.com/2016/07/07/ppa308-a-sketch-by-ann-schach/
My interpretation:
I used Stampin' Up Seaside Shore Stamp set for my A2 card. It's a very cute, easy to use stamp set.
I stamped the seaweed with Always Artichoke and then used my Stampin' Write Marker in Wild Wasabi to color the blades in. Then I stamped the Angel Fish with my black ink pad. I colored the eye in with a pale yellow marker. I cut the circle and the scallop behind with the Layering Circles Framelits. I added the fish circle to the scallop of Lost Lagoon paper. Then I stamped the bubbles with Lost Lagoon and added a few stickles to the open ones. I added the Shells in Flirty Flamingo and added a couple of stickles to them too. Added a white satin ribbon.
The Ahoy There is stamped in black and hand cut (it's so cute) and the sentiment and anchor on the inside are also stamped in black.
I was really happy with the way this card turned out. It would be hard to make a bad card with this stamp set. I almost didn't get it because I have the By The Tide set which is also AWESOME! But of course, I am glad I did.

St. Patty's Day fun cards
I bought these cute shamrocks at convention a few weeks ago with the idea of making this shaker card for my Granddaughter.
The Sprinkled and the jar dies are both from Paper Trey Ink. I put the jar on an Action Wobble for movement. I was pleased with the way it turned out and hope my Granddaughter will enjoy it.
I was at my Thursday stamping group making some cards with the Sheltering Tree from Stampin' Up. I had added some sequins to the trees and one of the ladies said you should make one and put the shamrocks on it. So I did.

It just had to have a pot of gold under it so I added that and a bright sun.

Color challenge using Watermelon Wonder, Cucumber Crush & Pool Party
My entry
I apologize for the picture quality. I have to do something better!
I started by stamping the flower and leaves from #1 of the Remarkable You stamp set from Stampin' Up with black Memento Ink. Then I colored the flower with my Watermelon Wonder marker and the leaves with the cucumber crush marker. I then "fussy" cut them.
I stamped the ribbon in Pool Party onto White Shimmer paper from PaperTrey Ink with a stamp from a set called Ribbon and Bows also from PaperTrey Ink.
I stamped the "Thinking of You" in the black Memento ink and the stamp is from a set called Friendly Phrases by Stampendous.
Then I layered it over Stampin' Up DSP Birthday Bouquet and a base of Pool Party paper.
I wish I could have gotten a better picture because I was really happy with the way this card turned out.
Here is the link to the challenge if you want to play along.

The flower is from Flower Patch stamp set cut with the Flower Fair Framelits dies. The sentiment is from Perfect Pairings which is a Sale-A-Bration set.

Obviously I haven't used my blog in a long time but I have still been making cards. I am going to start trying to post a few cards again.
This is the card I made for my newest Grandson. It was made for his cowboy themed shower in November. He was due in January but came early in December.
Thanks,
Cindy
