Merry Christmas Glass Block

My first glass block.  I am really happy with the way this turned out.  Every member of my family came in and said, " That's nice. Where did you buy it?".  I got to say, "Buy?  I made it!".

I bought the clear glass block at Hobby Lobby and sprayed it with Rust-o-leum Frosted Glass spray.
I cut the designs out in dark green vinyl.  The Merry Christmas is from Martha Stewart's Seasonal Cake Art on page 73.  I love the scripted look of this and have used it on some of my Christmas cards this year also.  The holly leaf is from Joys of the Season and is the shift image on page 69.  I added some xmas red stickles for the berries.  Then a small strand (30) white lights.

Thinking about making some more for Christmas gifts.

Thanks for coming by,

Cindy :)
