Girly Birthday Card

I made this card for a friend's daughter who is turning 18.  She likes bling, so I hope she likes this card!

Both of these cuts are from the Picturesque cartridge that I recently bought on sale.  The Butterfly is from page 65.  I cut the blackout in purple, the shift image in orange and the base image in yellow glitter paper.  I added a couple purple gems and put it on ------ you guessed it---- an action wobble!   The flower is the daisy on page 53 and I cut the shadow and the base flower in 2 1/2 and 2 1/4 inch increments in a couple of colors of purple and then the framework in a pinkish color.  I added some Fruit Punch Stickles and some gold gems in the center.  The leaves were cut from page 55, just the base image and I drew on the stem centers.  The Happy Birthday is a My Pink Stamper stamp (http://www.mypinkstamper.com/ )  from the Family and Friends set.  The Polka Dot Paper is from PaperTrey Ink (http://www.papertreyink.com/) a collection called Polka Dot Parade.  The inside stamp is from Stampin' Up.  The inside corners are punched with a Friskars punch.

Thanks for coming by and taking a look.  Comments are very welcome.

  2. Thanks for the sweet comment on my blog, Shauna. To answer your question about cardstock, the card base is PaperTrey Ink Perfect Match cardstock. This is very thick cardstock and works really well as a card base. I find it hard to cut on the Cricut consistantly, but love it for bases.
The polka dot is also a PaperTrey Ink paper. It is not thick but a nice light cardstock that cuts well. The leaves were some Core'Dination that I had in my scraps. The rest was just various pieces that I had in my scraps, so I am not really sure what specifically it is
