Another St. Patty's Day card. This is a 4.25 X 5.5 inch card. I started with a black card base. I just received a big order from Paper Trey Ink. Their paper is really thick and makes the best bases for cards. I take a piece of the 8 1/2 X 11 inch card stock and cut it in half at 4.25 X 11 and then fold it in half. This gives me two sturdy card bases.
Next is the white layer at 4 x 5.25 and then the patterned paper from DCWV's Lemon Flower Stack at 3.75 x 5. The "Happy St. Patrick's Day" phrase is from Martha Stewart's Seasonal Cake Art.
I often say that the cake cartridges are some of my favorites for paper crafting! They have really good phrases also. I cut the phrase and the shadow at 2.5 inches.
I adhered the patterned paper and the white layer together and then added the ribbon. Then put both layers on the base card. I added the little green flower and gem. Then I popped up the phrase on the card.
I finished the inside with some yellow paper and a row of the Shamrock Border from Paper Doll Dress up.
I made this card for the Die Cuttin' Divas Challenge #56.
