Yellow and Black Birthday

For some reason a couple of weeks ago, I was wishing I had some pretty yellow papers.  Yellow is not usually a color I go to first.  I guess sun, summer, I don't really know why.  Then I went to JoAnns and the first thing I saw was The Lemon Flower Stack by DCWV!

Really nice yellow and black combinations!  So this is my first card with the papers.  I have a lot of August birthdays so let the card making begin!  (Like I need and excuse! Hee Hee).

I haven't decided who will get this card yet. The Happy Birthday is from Stampin' Up's Perfect Punches set.  The ribbon is some I picked up at JoAnns.  A couple of smoky jewels and done.  I bought some square velum envelopes, so be looking forward to the square cards!
