Team Birthday

I have another nephew with a birthday.  He is very sports oriented and I made him this card.

This is a standard A2 (4.25 X 5.5") card.  The paper is from DCWV The Guy Stack.  The stamp and the punch that I used for the white layer are both Stampin' Up and I used Stampin' Up Chocolate Chip Ink.   That layer is slightly less than 1.5".  So then I used the Art Philosophy cartridge page 32 for the blue oval for the second layer cut at 1.5".  The third layer is the same oval cut at 1.75 with brown paper.  I popped each layer. I added some brown pearls to finish the front.

This shows how I popped up the layers and finished the inside of the card.

When I showed the card to my hubby, he said "Good idea to use a football".  I didn't realize that I did!!!  Funny, huh?!
