Spring in your step

I made this card last week for my sister who had gall bladder surgery.  I didn't want to post it before she got it.

I used my Picturesque cartridge again for this card.  The patterned paper is from the DCWV Latte stack and the solid card stock is PaperTrey Ink.  The "lattice" background is from page 74, the flower on page 54 ( I used the main cut, the shift cut and the shadow cut.) The leaves are from page 55. The butterfly is from page 65 ( I used the main image, the shift image and the blackout image.)  The butterfly is cut from glitter paper and of course on an Action Wobble.  Stickles on the flower to complete.

For the inside:  My writing on the inside wasn't so even and straight! The "spring" is from the Straight from the Nest cartridge on page 74, the Phrase and the Phrase shadow.  I also put it on an Action Wobble.  A double wobble card!

Irish Birthday

It has been so long since I posted, I apologize. I didn't get a picture of a couple of things I made - my bad.

I made this card a couple of weeks ago.  So I will try to remember the details for you

The color is off obviously in the first picture, but I took it without flash so that you could see the stickles.
The card stock is from the DCWV Mariposa stack. The inside liner is card stock is from Core'dinations.

The card base is from Picturesque page 75 the Card and Seal feature. The white daisy is from page 53, the leaves are from page 55 and the dragonfly is from page 64.  The Many Wishes is from  Birthday Bash Phrase feature on page 51 and put on an Action Wobble.  The Happy Birthday is from Cricut Cake Basics page 68 Font feature. I was not happy with the way the front of the card came out but adding the stickles to the front improved it a bunch!  A little bling goes a long way - Ha! Ha!

Thanks for coming by to look,

Cindy :)

Hello Kitty

My daughter asked me to make a birthday card for a friend and she asked specifically for Hello Kitty.

I've made several Hello Kitty cards and I always think I am making a mess of them and then when they are done, they always turn out cute.  Warning:  Do not attempt to make them small!  This one was cut out at 6 inches and even then some of the pieces are pretty small.  So this card is a 5 x 7 and the red base is Pure Poppy from PaperTrey Ink. The Striped layer is Stampin' Up. The purple layer is also PaperTrey Ink called Plum Pudding. The corner punch is Martha Stewart.  The white and gold ribbon is Stampin' Up.  It felt a little bare so I added six purple gems.  The hearts on the cake are from the corner punches. I added some Stampin' Up Crystal Effects to the cherries and some Fruit Punch Stickles to the center of the flowers.
Whew!
For the inside the sentiment came from Birthday Bash page 65 Phrase feature.
I had hard time with this card but it turned out pretty cute.
